Green Road

Green Road: the project

During 2020, in addition to other projects already in place, we joined the Green Road, specially built for companies in the asphalt industry.

In fact, we designed customized technological solutions for the production needs of these sites, making the Vulcan LNG product usable on a large scale, preparing the plant for use in the near future for the BIOLNG, with the goal of having asphalt production sites with neutral Co2 emissions in the near future.

Green Road is targeted at energy-intensive plants that have been using BTZ or diesel fuel until now.

It is designed for those who envision a green future with low emissions, making a real contribution to safeguarding the planet.

Here are some of the conglomerate plants that took part in Green Road.

Amplia Infrastructures is an integrated solutions and systems operator that has been operating in the country for more than 50 years in the construction, maintenance, rehabilitation and modernization of roads, highways, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, and service areas.

The successful switch from BTZ (low-sulfur fuel oil) to LNG (liquefied natural gas) in asphalt plants enables reduced pollutant emissions, improved energy efficiency, and operating cost savings, improving overall efficiency.

In.co.bit. sud srl was founded in 1973 as a road and bridge construction company with the belief that infrastructure is necessary for people to come together.

The decision to be the first to equip itself with a conglomerate mixing plant enabled the company to gain the fidence of public agencies and major private operators in the Territory.

The ISO certification obtained in 2001 and currently adjusted to ISO 9001.2015 represents the company’s achievement in terms of product quality and business organization.

In an ever-increasing quest for energy efficiency and reducing its impact on the environment, In.co.bit.
has chosen to switch its production operations from polluting fuels such as BTZ to a sustainable product such as LNG.

Futura Conglomerati S.r.l. was established in 2013 by the strategic business development of Co.Ri Srl. for the prevailing purpose of adding direct production and sale of asphalt mix to its business unit.

The plant is located in Potenza Picena, in Loc.
Molino Gatti 4, along S.P. 571 Regina at Km 3+00, in a barycentric location between the provinces of Ancona and Macerata.

The company’s goals include eco-sustainability, achieved through investments it has already made and others it plans to make.
The goal is to reduce both environmental pollutant emissions and land exploitation, seeking to use recycled bituminous materials and using green fuels such as LNG.

Rockolors srl, based in Cagli (PU), specializes in the production and supply of limestone and alluvial aggregates, concretes, asphalt mixes and colored decorative stones.

It also counts among its activities the management of the delivery of waste from construction and road construction sites.
Since 2024, the company has opted to go green with Vulcan LNG, abandoning the use of polluting fuels such as BTZ for its production.

Macerata Asfalti logo

Macerata Asfalti is a company, headquartered in Morrovalle (MC), that has been operating in the specialized field of asphalt conglomerate production since 2001, with production facilities located between Caldarola, San Severino Marche and Morrovalle.

In an ever-increasing awareness of its impact on the environment, the company decided to move away from traditional and more polluting fossil fuels by choosing sustainable solutions such as Vulcan LNG.

Francucci Srl has been operating since the early 1960s in the general construction sector, with particular specialization in road paving, sewer and hydraulic networks, as well as in river works and landslide settlements; civil and industrial construction; and production of bituminous and cementitious conglomerates.

Francucci believes in the sustainable development of construction and, for the production of asphalt mixes in the municipality of Corridonia, decided to adopt LNG as an alternative to BTZ, with a view to environmental protection and eco-friendly products.
